Equestrian All Weather Arenas

Showcasing elite Equestrian sport on the private grounds of Bolesworth Castle.

Bolesworth is traditionally world-renowned for its equestrian events. They host an array of International Equestrian events and have permanent infrastructure in the form of all-weather sand arenas and the Main Arena that is amphitheatre style.

Equestrian events at Bolesworth combine the glamour and excitement of a day at the races with Olympic standard facilities and exceptional sport and has gained an enviable reputation as a prestigious catalyst for luxury VIP hospitality and opportunities to make invaluable connections.

Weddings

Bolesworth offers an idyllic location for wedding receptions. The Lakeside Pavilion, on the Castle grounds, is the perfect setting. It is a stunning, secluded location surrounded by mature trees on the edge of Bolesworth Lake, which has a romantic, picturesque stone bridge over it.

Events & Festivals

The venue is suitable for large-scale events, with a licence for up to 25,000 visitors and is the proud home to the major family festival Carfest North.

Carfest is the perfect family friendly festival held over a weekend thats jam packed with iconic cars, music performances from some of the best artists, bands and DJs and savouring incredible food all whilst raising money for multiple Children’s Charities including Bolesworth’s charity partner, Hope House.

To date, Bolesworth has raised £1.3m for charity through events held at the estate.

Marquee Hire

Bolesworth has a permanent marquee for hire adjacent to the Main International Arena with a capacity for up to 450 seated guests. In addition, the marquee features its own in-house bar and facilities for live bands and DJs.

Christmas Lights

With the historic castle as your backdrop and bathed in seasonal colour, Bolesworth Castle becomes a winter wonderland illuminated by more that 40,000 lights around our 1.2 mile accessible Christmas Lights Trail.

The dazzling route winds through Bolesworth’s magnificent grounds, into our enchanted forest and past our shimmering lake… all drenched in vibrant festive hues. We know little (and some bigger) legs may find the entire trail tiring, so we’ve planned a number of accessible paths that let you plan a route to suit you.

There’s also plenty of interactive activities along the route, plus surprises along the way… you may even have the chance to meet our friendly reindeer as they get ready for the big day.

Outdoor Cinema Nights

Bolesworths blockbuster outdoor cinema nights; the evenings are full of food, films and fizz, setting the summer scene for the perfect open-air experience.

The huge LED screen will be showing something for everyone to enjoy, from film buffs to young movie enthusiasts, set against the backdrop of the stunning Bolesworth Castle.
